The impact of sea freight and exchange rate changes on rack exports

Recently some of our clients give us feedback that our price quotation for the racks are little higher than the price we provide before.

Let me explain why this happen: due to the fluctuations in the exchange rate, our recent quotation for the racks are valid for only 7 days from the date of issue. Currency exchange rate can significantly impact our costs. We reserve the rights to adjust our prices based on the current exchange rates.

However we have good news about the ocean shipping charge, it reduced a lot, obviously for the far distance shipping lines to the US, Canada, and South Amercia countries, if you need to order racks from us, and have waited for such a long time, then it is good chance for you to import now.

My new client this year Mr Bianca is from Canada, he wanted to order the wire mesh pallet containers from us at March, but at that time, the ocean shipping charge is very high, about USD15,000 per 20’GP at that time, the product cost was only about USD8,800 at that time, but he waits and keep us watching the freight rate, last month at September, he finally decide to place the order, when we finish production, it is at end of October, everthing goes well, and book the shipment for him, it only cost him USD3,960 for the shipping, really reduced a lot, and he almost save USD11,000 for this shipment, I am glad we can help him to do the save, he is very satisfied with our product and service,and wish to place order to us when in need at first time.
