Double depth pallet racking is a kind of steel racking type which uses scissor forklift to design two rows of shelves for parallel storage. The double depth pallet shelf system is derived from the heavy beam racking with simple structure and high storage capacity, which can effectively alleviate the storage requirements that the common beam shelf cannot meet, and increase the inventory by twice as much as the common beam shelf. Double depth shelf is widely used in tobacco, food and beverage, packaging and other industries. The specifications of the shelves can be changed according to the needs of customers.
Double depth shelf has the following advantages, which make it widely used in real life.
1. The beam height is low, and the operation height can reach 8m,
2. Medium inventory flow, providing 50% options,
3. It is suitable for warehouses with low pick-up rate, and the ground utilization rate can reach 42%,
4. The double depth shelf series is derived from the heavy cross beam shelf with simple structure and high storage capacity,
5. Effectively alleviate the storage requirements that cannot be met by ordinary cross beam shelves, and increase the inventory by twice as much as that of ordinary cross beam shelves,
6. Special forklift is required,
7. Forklift passage needs to be about 3.3m.
8. In the warehouse of the same area, compared with the single deep shelf, because there are four groups of shelves in parallel, the channel position is reduced, and more than double pallets can be stored on each goods storage line, so the stock is larger than the single deep shelf.
9. Since there are two rows of goods in the picking direction of the fork of the stacker, a special forward moving stacker (some are called three-way forklifts) must be used, and the fork of the stacker generally adopts 5-level fork.
10. For the storage and retrieval of goods in the back row, the same as the drive in shelf. Only after the corresponding goods in the front row are taken away or displaced can the storage and retrieval work be carried out. It is difficult for the shelves to be first in, first out. In order to improve the utilization rate of the warehouse, the general inventory needs to consider the storage of the back shelves before the storage of the front shelves.
11. When the goods are delivered, try to release the front and rear goods at one time. If there are too many cases that can't be discharged at one time, it may affect the utilization rate of the inventory or the efficiency of the warehouse operation (it needs to be frequently reversed).
12. The construction cost of each card is the lowest one among all three-dimensional warehouse shelving systems.
