Spieth Starts Dragon-Boat Festival from 12th to 14th

It is very pleased to inform you that we, Spieth team, will start our Dragon-Boat Festival from 12th, June to 14th, June, and we will be back to office on 15th, Tuesday.
And it is a great occasion and Spieth will share the basic information of Dragon-Boat Festival to you which is an annual occasion to commemorate a renowned Chinese poet Qu Yuan with a history of more than 2,000 years.
And during this period of time, people all over the country will make Zongzi, hang auspicious leaves, and wear scented sachets to celebrate this tradition festival.
The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional cultural festival popular in China and other countries in the Chinese character culture circle, like Malaysia, Singapore and other countries. The Dragon Boat Festival originated from China. It was originally a festival of totem sacrifices for the tribes who worshiped the dragon totem in the ancient Baiyue region (the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the south of the Yangtze River). Before the spring and autumn of the place of Baiyue, the tribe was held in the form of a dragon boat race on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. In the post-war period, a renowned Chinese poet Qu Yuan who have a high loyalty to his country and worried about the fate of his country and slain himself and jumped into the Miluo River on that day. After that, the ruler marked the Dragon Boat Festival as a festival to commemorate Qu Yuan for his loyalty to the monarch and care for the country.
And the dragon-boat races as the center of this traditional festival is a quite famous activity. These exciting races were inspired by the villagers’ attempts to rescue Qu Yuan from the river. And this tradition has remained unbroken for over centuries.
