The four-way radio shuttle racking system is a cutting-edge technology that boasts intelligent storage featuring racks, shuttles, and forklifts.
Four-way shuttles can access goods automatically, change lanes and levels, level up and climb, and remain anywhere within the operation area. Additionally, they can move and run in four directions, and even navigate irregular terrains with ease.
It can easily move on the pallet rail or even on the ground, regardless of terrain or slope.
The four-way shuttle racking only requires an increase in the number of shuttles, without adding aisles, greatly reducing the overall cost of the system even with an increase in the order quantity.
The safety and stability of four-way shuttle racking make it suitable for high-density low-flow storage and high-density high-flow picking, meeting different customer demands.
To ensure stable, safe, and efficient operation of the four-way radio shuttle system, end users should follow these conditions:
Avoid direct LED lighting or sunlight inside the warehouse, as they may interfere with optical sensors.
Keep sensor lenses clean. If the warehouse is dusty, wipe the sensor surfaces before use.
For cold storage applications, ensure all moisture on the shuttle’s sensor lenses is wiped off before re-entry.
When placing the shuttle into the rail, lower it gently; avoid dropping it quickly to prevent vibration damage.
During forklift handling, align the forks properly and avoid hitting the shuttle.
When transporting the shuttle with a forklift, keep it at a low height and drive smoothly to avoid drops.
Handle batteries carefully, placing them gently to prevent connector damage.
Store charging batteries in a designated isolation area, ideally together with the forklift charging zone.
Pallet deflection must be ≤20 mm. Confirm pallet overhang and ensure goods are wrapped securely if needed.
Perform regular maintenance as specified in the shuttle maintenance manual.
To guarantee seamless shuttle travel and accurate pallet positioning, the racking system must meet the following specifications:
The inner width tolerance of each shuttle track must be ±3 mm.
Track connection gaps must be ≤3 mm, with height differences ≤2 mm.
The bottom surface of the guide plate should be level with the top of the track to ensure full guiding function.
Stopper beams, rectangular tubes, and steel pallets should not use glossy paint; matte finishing is recommended to avoid sensor reflection interference.
