Wire mesh decking styles

Wire mesh decking, also known as wire decking or wire mesh grids, is commonly used in pallet racking systems to provide additional support for pallets or small items. There are several styles of wire mesh decking available, including:

1. Standard or Regular Style:

This is the most basic and commonly used style of wire mesh decking, featuring square or rectangular wire mesh welded to a reinforcement structure.

2. Waterfall Style:

This style of wire mesh decking has an additional support beam along the front edge that slopes downward to support the pallet. It provides extra stability and safety to the decking.

3. Flared Channel Style:

This style of wire mesh decking has a flared channel on all four sides that holds the decking securely in place on the pallet rack beams.

4. Inverted Channel Style:

This style of wire mesh decking features an inverted channel along the underside of the wire mesh that provides extra support for the decking when it is loaded with heavy items.

5. Drop-In Style:

This style of wire mesh decking is designed to drop into place on top of pallet rack beams and is held in place with gravity.

Each of these styles has its own advantages and disadvantages, depending on your specific needs and the type of items you are storing on your pallet racking system.
